This is Tristar's 74,000 square foot plant, with lifting capacity up to 70 tons, in Delta, British Columbia, Canada. Complete with excellent rail, road and water access, the machinery and technological systems at Tristar are among the most advanced in the world. Separate manufacturing and assembly bays are each equipped with multiple 35- and 70- ton cranes.

The Fabrication Shop

20,000 square feet in area with a lifting capacity of 70 tons and hook height of 31 feet. Plate cutting is done on a computerized Numerical Control machine that is directly connected to the engineering department. Automated and manual welding processes such as Submerged Arc, Gas Tungsten Arc, Plasma Arc and Plasma Transfer Arc and other conventional processes are commonly used for the variety of materials welded.

20,000 square feet in area with a lifting capacity of 70 tons and a hook height of 25 feet. Custom machinery with digital readout for machining screws and heavy equipment are used for the different size ranges and variety of materials used. Computerized Numerically Controlled machines are housed in very clean environment in our Roll and Assembly Shop.

25,000 square feet in area with a lifting capacity of 70 tons and a hook height of 29 feet. Roll Grinder, Balancing Machines, Computerized Numerical Control Machines and Assembly and Test centers in this shop ensure precision machining and very clean assembly operations.

 

The Metallizing Department

The Metallizing Department provides protection and coatings for Pulp and Paper Industries, Petrochemical, Chemical, Marine, Mining and Electro-Industrial applications. Specialized welding and metal buildup processes include Tungsten Inert Gas, Titanium, Plasma and Sub-Arc systems.
